One nice day…

A brilliant day was had yesterday at the Fayre. An abundance of delicious fair trade chocolate bars and delicious cup cakes were consumed, some lovely music was listened to, some new skills picked up (those knitters..!) and hundreds of amazing fair trade gifts purchased. Over 1000 people came through, including the Lord Mayor of Wesminster who said “This was a wonderful event and it was excellent to see so many products on sale that directly benefit people across the world, particularly those in developing nations. I wish you all the very best.” We managed to raise heaps of cash- enough for one (and a bit) bush ambulance for a rural community in Malawi.
