What is the Swap Shop?

On top of all the amazing stalls we will have at the Fayre we are also going to have a little corner dedicated to swapping! This is to promote, on top of ethical consumerism, more sustainable attitudes to THINGS! It is fabulously free to take part, just bring something along (in good condition- something you wouldn’t be ashamed of!) and, er, swap it for something else!
Rejig a Christmas outfit with a preloved cardi or pick up a lampshade you can makeover for your mum! There’s nothing like a good old Swap Shop (Basil Brush not included sorry.)

There’s a really good monthly event called Swaparama at Favela Chic (Old Street)
Turn up in one outfit, dance through the night, swap clothes every time the klaxxon sounds and leave in an entirely new outfit! Managed to score me a £150 jacket in trade for a £1 one!!
